CooperTools announces the introduction of the New Cleco® Tightening Manager™ System.

The New Cleco Tightening Manager system combines the most up-to-date technology, offering ‘The Total Solution’ for the most demanding critical fastening applications in today’s fast paced manufacturing environment.

The Cleco Tightening Manager controller comes standard with a unique large full color screen that enhances graphic interface and is supported by the advanced technology of Windows® based software. Another important feature is the user-friendly set-up screen with step-by-step instructions allowing the operator to program all necessary set points effortlessly.

System capabilities include Smart Tool Technology that recognizes a tool change and automatically up-loads necessary calibration adjustments. Simple or complex configuration of both hardware and software can be completed effortlessly. The unique modular design allows for in-process application editing without interrupting tool operation. An SPC data monitoring feature that permits real-time process feedback and evaluation. Data storage and easy software upgrade via the floppy disk drive. Digitally configurable 24-volt inputs and outputs, and many more standard features too numerous to mention make this system intuitive and easy to use.

CooperTools introduces the New Cleco® 24 and 34 Series of pneumatic nutrunners.

The new Cleco 24 and 34 Series of pneumatic nutrunners are the most recent additions to our line of smaller, lighter and faster tools. These improved nutrunners are designed for M6-M8 fasteners and offer the best power-to-weight ratio of any other tool in the market today. These improvements reinforce CooperTools’ commitment to offer the most performance, the highest level of accuracy and the greatest flexibility in its class of pneumatic tools.

Cleco has incorporated a new motor design that provides more usable power in a smaller package. When this new motor is combined with the improved Clecomatic Clutch, capability ratios greater than 1.67 across the entire range of torque can be achieved. This accuracy is unheard of until now in a pneumatic clutch tool and is backed by CooperTools’ ISO 5393 certification.
